This New Pink Starbucks Looks Like A Gorgeous Spot To Enjoy A Latte

Last month, Starbucks opened its first location on the islands of Turks & Caicos — and it’s super cute. We definitely want to sit down and have a coffee here!

The new store in Grand Turk represents the brand’s 82nd global market, and the 20th in the Latin American and Caribbean region. It’s situated at the local cruise port and features a cafe design that’s unique to the island. Naturally, it offers the regular range of Starbucks signature beverages and food.

The store was opened by Caribbean Coffee Traders Limited, part of Margaritaville Caribbean Group, which operates Starbucks exclusively in Jamaica and the Cayman Islands.

“We are delighted to open our first store in the tropical and exotic island of Turks and Caicos,” said Tim Grever, director of operations for Starbucks Caribbean markets. “We are confident that along with Caribbean Coffee Traders Ltd, we will deliver a unique an exceptional coffee experience for Turks and Caicos Islanders, one that truly showcases our deep passion for some of the best coffees from around the world, while honoring the local culture.”

Here are some other views of the adorable store, from its official Instagram at @starbuckstci. The exterior complements the beautiful sky outside!

And it’s just as beautiful inside as outside. Take a look at the interior, which is also of a light-colored palette to keep with the authentic tropical vibe. The mural in the back, inspired by the natural coral and mysticism of the island, was hand-painted by artist Maria Camila Bernal Toro of Remedios Art to depict Starbucks’ iconic siren (from its logo) and evoke “tranquility and pleasure,” according to a statement.

“The Siren inspires peace and warmth — recreating the history of Starbucks in a contemporary and tropical language,” the statement says.

Starbucks

This isn’t the only unusual Starbucks store that exists, of course. There are others, and many of them pay tribute to their beautiful locations and the history and culture of the areas in which they are situated.

In Tianjin, China, Starbucks opened a Starbucks Reserve flagship store inside a 1921 Renaissance-style building this past summer, preserving its architecture and providing a place where local community meets coffeehouse culture. You can get a better look at the interior at Starbucks’ news website, but here’s the exterior, via visitor @bixiou’s Instagram.

Believe it or not, there is more than one Starbucks made from shipping containers. One environmentally-friendly, LEED-certified coffee shop is located in Tikwila, Washington, as shown here by Instagram user @atagaw. Others can be found in Hualien, Taiwan and in the Edgewater neighborhood of Chicago.

And speaking of Chicago, Starbucks will be opening a new Starbucks Reserve Roastery location on Nov. 15. This four-story, 43,000 square-foot roastery and coffee bar will be located on Michigan Avenue and offer tours and Chicago-inspired drinks and cocktails.

There are two other Reserve Roastery locations in the U.S. in Seattle, Washington and New York City.

If you’re a Starbucks lover, these locations ought to make you want to travel! And a pink-hued coffee shop in a tropical spot sounds simply wonderful to us.
