SUMMIT COUNTY, Colo. – A wildfire that sparked Monday afternoon on Tenderfoot Mountain outside of Dillon grew to 21 acres in size by 7 p.m., but no evacuations have so far been ordered.
The fire was first reported shortly after 5 p.m. It is burning on the mountain between U.S. Highway 6 and Tenderfoot Trail.
Smoke could be seen along I-70 throughout the afternoon.
No evacuations have been ordered as of 7 p.m., and no homes were immediately threatened, according to a Dillon Fire spokesman.
