LARIMER COUNTY, Colo. – The Lewstone Fire, which started Saturday afternoon west of Bellvue in Larimer County, was 100% contained after burning around 165 acres, the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office said Tuesday afternoon.

All evacuations have been lifted on the fire, which started Saturday around 3:30 p.m. near Rist Canyon Road and Pine Acres. The Larimer County Sheriff’s Office will take command of the fire at midnight.

The fire was 65% contained earlier in the day Tuesday.

The sheriff’s office said that 45 firefighters would be on the scene Wednesday for mop-up operations but that no crews would be on the fire overnight.

The fire burned about 30 miles east of the Cameron Peak Fire, which was still 0% contained as of Tuesday morning. Click here for all of Denver7's wildfire coverage.
