A grass fire burning in southern Colorado destroyed a railroad trestle Wednesday.
The fire was three miles west of Haswell on Highway 96 at mile marker 142, according to the Kiowa County Sheriff's Office.
Haswell is about 90 miles east of Pueblo.
At 11 a.m. Wednesday, the sheriff's office wrote on Facebook that, "The grass fire has been contained. The only fire at this time is the railroad trustle [sp]."
