Two men have been charged in connection to a Colorado teenager whose body was found cut up and hidden in a suitcase.

The Utah Deseret News reports that 48-year-old Raymond Cordova, of Grand Junction and 31-year-old Eduardo Nasario Delacruz, of West Valley City, Utah, have been charged with abuse or desecration of a dead human body and obstructing justice.

Kelly Myers, 18, was said to be picked up by and traveling to Utah with Cordova and detectives confirmed that Myers had been staying at the Country Inn and Suites in the Salt Lake City area after a review of her social media account postings.

Court documents say the two men and a third, who is listed as a witness in the case, met at a West Valley City hotel to discuss how to get rid of 18-year-old Kelly Myers' body.

Her body was found Feb. 28, 2015 inside a suitcase in the Cactus Park hiking area in western Colorado, about 22 miles south of Grand Junction and 300 miles from where police in Utah believe she died. Investigators used thumb prints to positively identify her.

An autopsy found Myers likely died from a drug overdose several weeks before she was found.
