It was an incredibly close call for reporter Alex Savidge of KTVU in San Francisco Wednesday morning, when he was nearly hit by a car while reporting live on air.
Savidge can be seen reporting for KTVU's Mornings on 2 when suddenly he jumps out of the way and a car comes crashing into the spot where he stood.
KTVU posted on its website that no one was injured, and that the car hit a light stand.
The crash is still under investigation but may have been caused when the woman driving the sedan hit the gas pedal instead of the brakes, causing her vehicle to veer towards the reporter with force, according to a KTVU article online.
