Two people are dead, including one suspect, following active shooter situation in Houston, Texas, late Sunday morning, local authorities said.
The gunmen began randomly firing shots near a commercial plaza in west Houston Sunday morning, according to our ABC-affiliate KTRK.
One person was "found deceased inside of a vehicle," according to an official with the Houston Police Department, who posted the update on Facebook.

Several cars were hit and their windows broken, KTRK reported. Three civilians were injured in the shootings, police said. Their conditions are unknown. Investigators do not know what prompted the gunmen to start firing their weapons.
One of the suspects was wounded and was taken to an area hospital, after he was apparently shot by another suspect, Houston PD officials told KTRK. A SWAT team moved in to the scene and shot and killed the other suspect, the T.V. station reports.
Two Precinct 5 deputies were also shot, but both are expected to be OK, according to KTRK. In total, eight people were shot during the active shooter situation.
Houston Police declared the situation over at around 12:45 p.m. MDT.
