LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) — Wyoming coach Craig Bohl says defensive tackle Youhanna Ghaifan (yo-HAWN'-uh guh-FAWN') has been suspended indefinitely after Ghaifan was charged with two misdemeanor offenses in Fort Collins.
A news release from the Wyoming athletic department said Ghaifan was issued a summons by Fort Collins police for misdemeanor false imprisonment and misdemeanor harassment on Friday morning.
Wyoming was scheduled to play Colorado State on Friday night.
Bohl says Ghaifan was taken back to Laramie.
The coach said he had limited information about the details of what led to the charges.
Wyoming Athletics Director Tom Burman says the college is working to make sure it follows all policies and procedures related to the issue.
The news release said there would be no further comment from Wyoming athletics personnel at this time.
