COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- A driver who was stopped after reportedly stealing a car was arrested in Colorado Springs this week -- but the alleged felon wasn't the only one police found inside.
"A stolen car was stopped at Oro Blanco and N carefree, occupied twice. The driver went to jail," the Colorado Springs Police Department posted on Facebook.
The alleged car thief had a cute dog in the car, the police wrote. Its name? "Felon."
"Seemed only appropriate to sit in the back of the car with a Felon!" the police department added.
Not much is known about the crime, but police did say "Felon" was now safe at grandma's house.
