Colorado company sets up pop up shop on a sheer cliff in incredible publicity stunt

DENVER – A Colorado company is getting quite the buzz for reaching new heights with their latest publicity stunt.

Boulder-based Cocona Inc. worked with advertising agency WorkInProgress for two days to set up a pop-up shop for materials company 37.5 on the iconic Bastille Crack in El Dorado Canyon, according to Adweek.

Dubbed the Cliffside Shop, the “world’s most remote pop-up” was manned all day long by expert climbers who were also handing out outerwear gear to those climbing Bastille.

The publicity stunt reportedly raised $15,000 for local climbing route improvements and “aims to draw attention to the current hot-button issue of public land preservation,” Adweek reported.
