Imagine waking up in a tent and seeing three lions -- with nothing between you but a thin layer of mesh.
That's what happened to some people camping in southern Africa, and video of the encounter is going viral.
"We woke up to hear a noise outside the tent. Upon investigation, we found three lionesses outside the tent," YouTube user Francie Lubbe wrote. "The only thing that separated us from them was the net."
"Danie was the stable cameraman, always cool and calm!" Lubbe continued.
(Maybe it has something to do with the bottle of Bell's whisky visible on the table?)
Lubbe posted that she was in the Khiding and Mabuasehube areas of Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park in Botswana.
"The entire park is completely unfenced, allowing for wildlife to move freely along the ancient migration routes so necessary for their survival in the desert," according to the Botswana tourism website.
"All of the major predators can be seen at Mabuasehube, including the Kalahari black-maned lion, cheetah, leopard, brown hyena, bat-eared fox, lynx, and silver fox," the website states.
"What an experience," Lubbe wrote.
The video had been viewed more than 117,000 times in the first three days after it was posted.
