DENVER -- Nestled in the mountains near the border of Transylvania lies one of the most famous castles from 19th-century gothic literature -- and two people will have the chance to enter freely, go safely, and leave something of the happiness they bring to Dracula's Castle this Halloween.

Two guests will get the chance to win a free flight to Romania, but that's not where the adventure really begins. Once you arrive, a horse-drawn carriage will take you to Bran Castle where you will be greeted at the castle's wooden doors by none other than Dacre Stoker, the great-grandnephew of Bram Stoker, author of the legendary 1897 Dracula novel.

The lucky winners will have access to the castle's fifty-seven rooms, lofty tower lookouts, deep dark crypts and will enjoy a candle-lit dinner in the castle's main dining room, all thanks to Airbnb

To be eligible to win, the contestants must provide a short fictional piece describing what they would say if they came face-to-face with count Dracula himself. The contest is open now and will end on Oct. 26 at 4:59 p.m. Mountain Time.

There are a few house rules to follow, however:

  • No garlic or garlic-scented items allowed
  • You are kindly requested to leave your silver jewelry at home
  • Do not cross the cutlery. In fact, please refrain from placing anything in a cross formation
  • Beware of the bats in the castle tower
  • Please close all curtains before sunrise
  • The count is not a fan of mirror selfies

The castle is famous for its connection to Vlad the Impaler, a real-life prince who stayed there in the 15th century and had a cruel habit of using stakes to impale his victims. Vlad inspired Stoker's story of Count Dracula.

The castle is one of Romania's top tourist attractions, with more than 630,000 visitors a year.
