An autopsy is scheduled Monday for the victim of a plane crash in northwest Colorado after witnesses reported hearing an explosion and authorities found wreckage of a plane.
The Rio Blanco County Sheriff's Office says deputies and rescue crews searched the area again on Saturday after the body was found on Friday.
The crash happened Thursday in a remote area about 15 miles west of Meeker.
A witness reported hearing a plane rev its engines before the explosion. Air traffic controllers confirmed that a single-engine Bonanza 35 flying from Salt Lake City to Granby, Colorado, disappeared from their radar and searchers found wreckage using the coordinates of its last known location.
It's not known how many people were onboard.
