Three snowmobilers reported missing in Garfield County have been found safe after spending a night in the wild.
The Glenwood Springs Post Independentreports the three men were spotted by a search helicopter at about 11:15 a.m. on Monday, standing around a fire. Authorities say two of their snowmobiles had mechanical problems.
They were reported missing at about 7:30 p.m. Sunday. Search teams hunted for them until about 2:30 a.m. Monday, then resumed the search at 8 a.m. Monday.
Their names weren't released.
The snowmobilers were airlifted to the incident command headquarters.
