WOLCOTT -- Authorities have identified two girls who died in a single-vehicle crash near Wolcott that left three other people seriously injured.
Autumn Garza, 14, and Hannaleigh Figaszewski, 9, both from the Front Range, died at the scene of the Monday crash.
Colorado State Patrol spokesman Trooper Nate Reid says the girls had been riding in a car driven by Jenny Figaszewski, of Fontana, California, along Interstate 70. He says the vehicle went off the road and started rolling before it returned to the roadway, skidded sideways and collided with a fence.
Jenny Figaszewski, an 8-year-old boy and 5-year-old girl were taken to a Vail hospital with serious injuries.
Authorities say none of the vehicle's occupants had been wearing seat belts.
