A man died in southern Colorado Sunday after a microburst apparently threw his RV trailer about 40 feet, according to the Otero County Sheriff's Office.

The 50-year-old man was killed near Highway 194 on County Road 33, which is about 15 miles from La Junta.

The man's name has not been released, pending an autopsy and notification of family.
