DENVER – Vice President Mike Pence will make campaign stops in Colorado Monday in support of U.S. Sen. Cory Gardner, R-Colo., and President Donald Trump. Ivanka Trump is also make a rescheduled visit to Lockheed Martin in Littleton.
Pence is set to arrive at the Northern Colorado Regional Airport around 11:30 a.m. Monday and will first head to Windsor, will he will attend a re-election event for Gardner.
Air Force Two will then fly to Aspen, where he is expected to arrive around 2:30 p.m. He will then speak at a 3:30 p.m. re-election event for himself and the president.
Both fundraiser events are closed to the press but Denver7 expects to stream Pence’s arrival in Loveland.
Presidential adviser Ivanka Trump is also in Littleton for an event at Lockheed Martin Monday, which was originally planned for earlier this year but rescheduled after the STEM School shooting.
Our partners at The Denver Post report that ICE Acting Director Matt Albence will meet with employees and contractors at the Aurora ICE facility and other locations on Monday.
Aurora police said last week that Pence would not be visiting the detention facility there.
