Trump slowly maturing in role as President, Denver conservative radio host says

DENVER -- President Donald Trump is marking 100 days in office this weekend, but KNUS Radio talk show host Krista Kafer says it’s really not fair to judge the president on what he’s accomplished so far.

“The 100 days is kind of arbitrary,” Kafer told Anne Trujillo on this week’s Politics Unplugged. “When FDR was talking first 100 days he was actually talking legislative days. If we were to add up the legislative days, Trump’s first 100 days is actually in July or August."

Kafer says she can tell the president is slowly maturing in the role.

“As a candidate he could be obscene,” she said. “But I think he’s trying to temper what he says in public. The tweets have gotten better. He’s made some actions on the foreign stage that I think have been responsible, it seems like he’s listening to his generals and isn’t that we hoped for?”
