DENVER (AP) -- About 300 people demonstrated in Denver against President Donald Trump, calling for stronger investigation into any inappropriate ties Trump or associates might have with Russia.
About half a dozen police monitored the rally along the Platte River near downtown.
No counter-protesters showed up and the rally was peaceful.

Far-right group met by hundreds of counter-protesters in Boulder
At least four people were detained at a rally on Boulder's Pearl Street Mall this Saturday, according to reports from the Boulder Daily Camera.
A reporter there said nearly 30 members of a self-described "western chauvinist" group clashed with about 200 counter-protesters.
Smoke bombs were thrown during the rally, but it was not immediately clear which group was responsible for throwing the material.
The organizers of the rally, a group who calls itself the "Proud Boys Colorado," reportedly waved American flags and wore shirts with "Don't tread on me" slogans, according to the Camera.
The group also reportedly vowed to "make America great again."
The Associated Press has described the "Proud Boys" as a far-right men's organization.
