DENVER — Manny Rutinel beat out two other candidates and won the nomination on Tuesday for the 2026 Democratic primary for U.S. House District 8 in Colorado, the Associated Press has declared.
As of Tuesday evening, Rutinel had more than 60% of the vote with 81% reporting, beating out Shannon Bird and Evan Munsing.
Rutinel will face off against the incumbent Republican Gabe Evans, who won Colorado's newest district in 2024.
