Jack Graham's road to Senate candidacy

and last updated

Republican Senate candidate Jack Graham is relatively newbie in the political game.

A 1975 graduate of Colorado State University, the former Ram quarterback built a successful business career after a stint in the NFL.

Now, after spending a few years as the Athletic Director at his alma mater and spearheading the push for a new football stadium, Graham is ready for the next chapter of his life.

On this week's Politics Unplugged, Graham tells Anne Trujillo and Marshall Zelinger why he made the decision to run for Senate and discusses why he changed his political affiliation from Democrat to Republican just a few years ago.

He also has a few choice words about both Donald Trump and Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.

Politics Unplugged airs Sundays at 4pm on Denver7.
