ATLANTA, Ga. — The presidential campaign is leaving a foul smell for some in Georgia.
Several media reports suggest a Democratic Party bus linked to the Hillary Clinton campaign illegally dumped human waste onto the streets of an Atlanta suburb.
Police in Gwinnett County, Georgia are investigating the alleged dump by the DNC bus Tuesday morning.
A hazmat crew responded to clear the streets of the sewage, Atlanta ABC affiliate WSB reports. The bus was parked in front of an early voting event.
A DNC spokesperson told WSB that the alleged dump was an “honest mistake” and apologized to the community.
The driver of the bus works with a charter company. There is no word if any citations were issued.
