Republicans eyeing the future after Colorado appears to turn blue in election

Posted

DENVER -- After Democrats took control of both houses of the state legislature and swept the four state executive offices up for grabs in November's election, the chair of Colorado's Republican party says there will likely be changes in the party before the next election. However, he also thinks voters may change their minds about what they want by then to.

Jeff Hays sits down with Anne Trujillo on this weekend's Politics Unplugged. He says he thinks Colorado's voters were sending a big message to Washington in last month's election.

You can hear more of what he has to say Sunday at 4:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Denver7, as well as noon on K3-KCDO.
