For the past year, people around Denver have been taking pictures of their neighborhoods to show others what it is like to live, work, learn, play and commute where they live.
On Tuesday, June 21, many of those pictures are going to be part of a temporary exhibit at Denver's Wellington Webb building.
The project was organized by Denver's Community Active Living Coalition with the goal of showing highlights of the neighborhoods, but the challenges residents face as well.
Kayla Gilbert coordinated the project. She joined Anne Trujillo on this week's Politics Unplugged to talk about how the project came about and what they've learned about it.
If you would like to see more of the pictures, or get additional information about Tuesday night's PhotoVoices expo, visit DenverCALC.org.
Politics Unplugged airs Sundays at 4pm on Denver7
