DENVER — The gavel will drop on the first regular session of the 72nd General Assembly of the Colorado Legislature on Friday, January 4.
While Democrats were able to maintain their majority in the House in the last election, the new session will begin with a new Speaker of House, State Representative KC Becker (D-Boulder, Clear Creek).
