Colorado’s millennial voters want their voice heard in this year’s election.
The Roosevelt Network, which represents 10,000 students at 120 campuses in 38 states across the country including the University of Denver, released its Next Generation Blueprint this week, and Kieran Doyle, the Vice President of the DU Chapter, talked about their findings on Politics Unplugged with Anne Trujillo and Marshall Zelinger.
Nationally, the Blueprint focused on three key areas: Education, the economy and justice.
Here in Colorado, the students identified more specific needs, including having statewide broadband access, investing in the high tech sector, and comprehensive education reform.
Politics Unplugged airs Sundays at 4 p.m. on Denver7 -- with the exception of Oscar weekend when the show will air at 9:30 p.m. on Saturday and a repeat Sunday morning at 11:30.
