DENVER -- Chinese immigrant Lily Tang Williams says she's an American by choice and that's one of the reasons she is running for U.S. Senate as a Libertarian candidate this November.
"I hate to see the country I love becoming more like the country I left," Williams said. "I'm worried for my children's future and I'm worried they won't have the same opportunities I had to achieve their American dreams."
In an interview on Politics Unplugged, Williams says some of the biggest problems she sees with the government is that it's out of control, intrusive, very expensive and not affordable.
The Libertarian also says she is not a fan of the common core system of education, blaming it for kids losing an interest in learning.
