DENVER — Construction has officially begun on Meow Wolf’s new Denver location.

The interactive art museum is located near the Broncos Stadium at Mile High and can be seen along W. Colfax Avenue near the southbound Interstate 25 ramp.

Meow Wolf describes itself as an immersive and interactive experience that “transport(s) audiences of all ages into fantastic realms of story and exploration. This includes art installations, video and music production, and extended reality content.”

Santa Fe-based Meow Wolf first announced it would open a location in Denver in fall 2018.

Back in April, the museum opened its amusement park ride “Kaleidoscape” at Elitch Gardens.

Construction is expected to be complete by 2021.
