Mother lion, cubs stop to say hi to CSP troopers

Posted

A woman went to the Arvada Police Department with a request Monday: to say hi and give an officer a hug. The Wednesday visitors to one of the Colorado State Patrol offices probably weren’t thinking such snuggly thoughts.

Troopers spotted three mountain lions in the morning, outside of their Colorado Springs location.

They tweeted a photo, aptly captioned #ColoradoLiving. The picture shows what appears to be a mother lion and her cubs.

“Momma and her babies came by the office to say hi!” State Patrol said.

Something tells us troopers decided on a distant wave instead of an embrace.
