MT. JULIET, Tenn. — Officials in a Tennessee county have asked the public to check their Halloween candy after a needle was found in one item.

The Wilson County Sheriff’s Office said a report was filed Wednesday night in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee after a needle was found in a piece of LifeSavers Gummies candy.

The discovery was made after a mother noticed the wrapper had been tampered with. Officials asked everyone to make sure all candy is properly sealed.
