A massive fire broke out in Queens, New York on Thursday morning — a blaze that has injured at least 12 people, including seven firefighters.
NBC New York reports that 25 fire departments responded to the fire, which started in the Sunnyside neighborhood in Queens. Six businesses were damaged by the fire.
None of the injuries are minor injuries and not expected to be life-threatening.
One of the buildings affected by the fire experienced a collapse during the incident, according to fire officials. At least a dozen firefighters were in the building at the time of the collapse.
It's not yet clear what started the fire.
