Due to the high speed, the unidentified victim plunged through her windshield and became lodged in her passenger seat.
Citing Oceanside police, NBC San Diego reports that the man's leg detached from his body and flew through the back window, landing on the trunk of the car.
Meanwhile, Sanchez continued driving for about a mile before finally parking her car in a cul-de-sac. She walked away from the vehicle and police caught up with her a short while later.
Sanchez was arrested and charged with felony DUI, felony hit-and-run and vehicular manslaughter.
