The 2016 X Games in Aspen will run through Sunday, but already we've seen visitors and competitors alike enjoy the fresh powder and all the extra activities going on this year.
Competitions include ski and snowboard half-pipe, big air and slop-style. Among the most popular events? The snowmobile freestyle.
X Games Vice-President Tim Reed spoke with Denver7 on the successful relationship between Aspen Snowmass and the X Games.
"We couldn't get it done without them, they are supportive... they are great partners and obviously you don't stay someplace 15 years unless you are enjoying it," he said.
The two groups signed a new contract keeping the X Games in Aspen until 2019.
