Teams from across the world wow with stunning art at Breckenridge Snow Sculpture Championships

BRECKENRIDGE, Colo. – Sixteen teams used only hand tools and worked for five days last week to create stunning snow sculptures in the yearly Snow Sculpture Championships.

A Chinese team won the competition with “Mermaid,” which depicted a mermaid and other fish and creatures swimming out of the snow block.

There’s still time to catch the sculptures for yourself, as long as it doesn’t get too warm! The exhibit is on display until Feb. 5 at the Riverwalk Center.
