A skier living and working in Breckenridge died after a collision on the mountain Tuesday.
Witnesses said Christopher Dutko, 26, was skiing the Sundown intermediate run when he collided with another skier, lost control and skied into a tree, according to the Summit County Coroner's Office.
Dutko did not have a helmet on.
Dutko was taken to the Breckenridge Community Clinic, but he didn't survive.
The coroner ruled Dutko's death an accident.
He's the second person to die in a skiing accident in Colorado in the last week. Sam Beall died after last Thursday at Beaver Creek after hitting a sign that was in between runs.
