Man, woman found dead inside Mesa County home

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. — Deputies are investigating after two people were found dead inside a home in Clifton near Grand Junction Thursday overnight.

Deputies from the Mesa County Sheriff’s Office were performing a welfare check when they found the bodies of a man and woman, both believed to be in their 20s.

The Sheriff’s Office said an out-of-state family member became concerned for their safety and asked for deputies to check on them.  

Sheriff investigators have not disclosed how they may have died. They said there were no immediate signs of forced entry, and they are not pursuing any suspects at this time.
