Lost hikers rescued on Ceran St Vrain Trail, South Boulder Creek Trail Sunday night

BOULDER COUNTY, Colo.-- Rescuers in Boulder County found lost people in two different places Sunday night.

At 6:57 p.m., the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office Emergency Services, Rocky Mountain Rescue, Allenspark and Lefthand Fire Protection Districts were called to the Ceran St. Vrain Trailhead on the report of a lost hiker.

Deputies said a 60-year-old woman hiking with her three dogs took a wrong turn and got lost.

Emergency personnel found the woman and escorted her out of the area.

At 8:47 p.m. members of the Boulder County Sheriff's Office, Rocky Mountain Rescue, Front Range Rescue Dogs and Coal Creek Fire Protection District were called to the South Boulder Creek Trailhead where an 18-year-old woman was missing.

Officials said the woman was hiking with her boyfriend and sister when she got separated from them.

Rocky Mountain Rescue found the woman, uninjured, only about 1/4 mile from the parking lot, deputies said.
