GRAND COUNTY, Colo. – Two people were killed in a head-on collision on Highway 40 near Kremmling, a Colorado State Patrol spokesperson said late Thursday afternoon.
The crash between a pickup truck and an SUV happened near mile marker 186 on Highway 40, Trooper Gary Cutler said. It was reported to authorities at around 5:14 p.m.
Details on what led to the collision or which vehicles the victims were in were not immediately available.
Highway 40 was closed for about two hours.
