Aspen police arrested a man wearing a cape and a sombrero for allegedly not allowing a woman to leave a men’s bathroom stall after they did cocaine together, the Aspen Times reported.
The newspaper reported that 30-year-old Marco Madriz-Vergara was arrested on suspicion of false imprisonment, possession of cocaine and harassment early Saturday morning.
The victim told police she was drinking with friends and her boyfriend at The Red Onion. She said when she went downstairs to use the bathroom she met a man in a black sombrero, a poncho-style cape and cowboy boots who offered her cocaine.
The woman told police the two sniffed cocaine and kissed, but when she got "weirded out" and tried to leave, the man wouldn't let her. The woman eventually escaped, left the bar with her boyfriend and called police.
