Hoping to camp or backpack over the Memorial Day weekend in Colorado?

The Arapaho & Roosevelt National Forests Pawnee National Grassland is warning visitors to "be prepared to run into patchy snow above 8,000 feet and deep snow on trails above 10,000 feet this weekend."

Some roads to campgrounds and trailheads remain closed due to deep snow, mud and in some places, melted creeks flowing over roads, officials said.

Rocky Mountain National Park is reporting 20 inches of snow at Bear Lake and Ouzel Falls, 48 inches at Lake Irene. Read the latest on trail conditions here.
