GRANBY, Colo. – A baby moose who did not follow mom’s orders ended up on the other side of the road Thursday morning in Grand County.
The moose fell on the icy roads of US 40 in the Town of Granby at least a dozen times, according to a report by Ski-Hi News.
The Grand County Sheriff’s Office has issued several warnings for drivers, as there have been several crashes involving elk, moose and deer in the area, according to Kirsten Lodge, general manager for Ski-Hi News.
Deputies often remind drivers in the small town and the surrounding areas to slow down and create more space between cars and wildlife on the roads.
