DENVER -- He may not remember it, but his family sure will. Little Tony got to the share the spotlight with his father as he was named a Broncos Country Hero during Denver's game against Houston Monday night.

Sergeant Tony Lopez Jr. was shot five times during a traffic stop near W. 37th Avenue and Federal Boulevard December of last year. He was shot in an arm and both legs. A bulletproof vest protected him from shots to his torso.
He has undergone several surgeries, and he is still healing. He faces the possibility of another surgery.
Fans voted for Lopez Jr. after he was nominated for the recognition last week.
