A woman walking in Adams County was shot overnight, according to the sheriff's office.
The shooting happened on West 56th Avenue at Pecos Street around 3 a.m. Wednesday.
Police say the woman was walking down the street when a bullet hit her in the arm. She went to the hospital for her injuries and she's stable.
Police are searching the area for suspects.
The sheriff's office hasn't given any suspect information but a Denver officer on scene says authorities are looking for a blue Dodge Charger.
