A woman who responded to a Craiglist ad for a truck ended up stealing it, Arvada Police say.

The woman called and asked to look at the black Ford F-150 Lightning. The woman identified herself as "Carla" and called from a 331 area code.

She drove up on Dec. 8 with a man in 2004 Subaru STI.

The owner stepped away and the woman took the keys and drove off in the Ford. The truck is not currently registered and has no Colorado plate, police said.

The Subaru the two suspects arrived in was stolen out of Denver.

The woman is described as being possibly Hispanic or Middle Eastern and in her 20s or 30s. The victim said she was about 5-feet-tall and weighs about 105 pounds.

The man is also described as being possibly Hispanic or Middle Eastern and in his 20s or 30s. He is believed to be about 5-foot-9 and 145 pounds.

The stolen Ford F-150 Lightning stands out because of its excellent condition and extensive customization, police said. Every trim piece has been painted to match, and there are unique lightning details.
