Woman found dead in Aurora home under suspicious circumstances

AURORA, Colo. -- Officers Wednesday found the body of a woman inside a home in Aurora, sparking an investigation. 

Detectives from the Major Crimes/Homicide Unit and Crime Scene Investigations Unit immediately took over after seeing the scene on South Waco Street, calling the woman's death suspicious. 

The circumstances of the unnamed woman's death are currently under investigation, but officers are asking for help from the public. 

Anybody with information could be eligible for a reward of up to $2,000 if information is called in to (720) 913-7867. 

The woman's identity is expected to be released when the Arapahoe County Coroner's Office has a positive identification and the woman's family has been notified.
