GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. – A woman died in a crash while on a homemade dune buggy near Grand Junction Thursday night.
The crash, which killed 21-year-old Tiana Williams, happened in the desert off 27 ¼ Road around 8:30 p.m.
Williams died at the scene after the dune buggy rolled at the top of a hill. The Mesa County Coroner's Office says she died of blunt force head injuries; she was not wearing a helmet at the time.
The Mesa Count Sheriff's Office continues to investigate the crash.
