JEFFERSON COUNTY, Colo. — The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office arrested a woman for attempted murder, arson and child abuse following a house fire in unincorporated Jeffco Friday.
South Metro Fire Rescue responded to 7100 block of S. Depew Street around 6:40 p.m. Friday for a basement fire.
The fire is under control. Firefighters found one cat inside and gave it oxygen. The cat is reunited with its owner. Crews also found a dog inside. Personnel on scene are working on calming the dog down and also reuniting with its owner. One person was tranposred to the hospital. pic.twitter.com/ICYLx2BzEI

One man was transported to the hospital for injuries where he was treated and released. Multiple children were also inside, but are safe.
Firefighters found a cat inside and gave it oxygen. A dog was also in the home and was not injured.
The Sheriff's Office arrested Christy Sinner, 38, on four counts of attempted first-degree murder, first-degree arson and two counts of child abuse. They did not provide further details into what happened.
The Sheriff's Office and South Metro Fire investigators are processing the scene of the fire Saturday. The investigation is ongoing.
