DENVER — A winter storm moved through the Front Range Monday evening, bringing snow to much of Colorado. We have live updates on traffic and snow conditions, along with photos and video of the storm, embedded below.

3:10 p.m. — Many highways in Colorado remain closed Tuesday afternoon because of blowing snow and "adverse weather," CDOT says. Southbound I-25 is closed from the Pueblo Blvd. exit to the New Mexico state line. Westbound I-70 remains closed between the Kansas border and exit 438. And both directions of U.S. Highway 24 are closed between Calhan and Limon because of poor weather conditions.
1:54 p.m. — Westbound I-70 is closed between exit 361 (U.S. 24) and exit 292 (U.S. 36) because of "adverse weather conditions," CDOT says.
12:41 p.m. — CDOT says that both directions of I-70 have reopened at Vail Pass and East Vail after avalanche mitigation work.
12:23 p.m. — The National Weather Service and CDOT say that roads in east-central Colorado are still impassable in some places.

12:20 p.m. — The Cripple Creek Fire Department posted pictures of a tiny home that was blown over in the blizzard-force winds that accompanied last night's storm. One person and two cats were rescued by first responders, the department said.

9:57 a.m. — CDOT is asking drivers to avoid driving on I-25 between Monument and Castle Rock. High winds and blowing and drifting snow are hazards in this area.
9:52 a.m. — I-70 is closed in both directions at Vail Pass and east Vail for avalanche control, according to CSP Eagle. The closure is expected to last between 30 minutes and an hour.

8:46 a.m. — The Denver Police Department has reported that the traffic count has reached 37. Police are urging drivers to slow down on the roads.
8:35 a.m. — CSP Castle Rock is reporting a crash on I-225 at Parker. Two southbound lanes are blocked by a three-car crash with injuries. Authorities said traffic is backing up quickly in the area.

8:15 a.m. — The northbound lanes of U.S. 287 have reopened between Red Leather Lakes Road and the Wyoming Border. Conditions have improved from Ted's Place to Wyoming. U.S. 85 has also reopened in both directions between Nunn and Wyoming.
8:07 a.m. — The FAA said it is grounding some planes destined for DIA for up to an hour due to weather in Colorado. This only applies to arriving flights, not ones departing from DIA.
7:57 a.m. — In the Kit Carson area, the westbound lanes of U.S. 40 are closed between U.S. 287 and County Road 23. In addition, U.S. 287 northbound is closed between Kerr Street and U.S. 40.
7:31 a.m. — A ground delay is in place for Denver International Airport, according to the FAA. This means that flights destined for DIA are being delayed from wherever they are coming from. Some flights are delayed by an average of 56 minutes. To see if your flight is affected, visit your airport's website and find delays by destination. 6:51 a.m. — The city of Boulder is now off of Accident Alert.

5:57 a.m. — I-70 has closed between Limon and Burlington due to whiteout conditions, snow and ice, according to CSP Limon. Plows were not able to clear the roads.
5:32 a.m. — Denver Public Schools says as of 5:30 a.m., schools are not closed and they are not expecting a delayed start. Schools are closed in Cherry Creek, Aurora and Douglas County. For a full list of closed schools, click here.
4:43 a.m.: U.S. 85 southbound and northbound lanes are closed between the town of Nunn and the state line (milemarkers 289-309). U.S. 287 in Larimer County is closed in both the southbound and northbound lanes from Teds Place to the Wyoming border (milemarkers 356-385). CO 83 southbound and northbound is also closed, from County Road 104 north to Franktown (milemarkers 30-51).

3:30 a.m.: Colorado Department of Transportation closed Highway 86 between Kiowa and I-70. Several cities and counties are on Accident Alert, which means authorities will only respond if there are injuries, vehicle is disabled and/or alcohol or drugs involved. Drivers are required to exchange information and file an accident report later.

2:30 a.m.: I-70 is closed in both directions between Airpark Road and Limon due to blowing snow and icy conditions. Highway 24 is also closed between Woodman and Limon. Highway 71 was closed from Limon up to Brush in Eastern Colorado.
