DENVER – Strong winds and dry conditions has increased fire danger across parts of Colorado.
The National Weather Service (NWS) issued a red flag warning for Southeast Colorado. Northwest winds will increase through the morning, reaching a peak around noon. The warning expires at 6 p.m. Monday.
The NWS has also issued a fire weather watch for portions of the Front Range and Northeast Colorado.
Several brush fires have already broke out across the metro area Sunday and Monday.
The danger for fires will increase on Tuesday.
