DENVER – More and more people are packing up and moving to Denver. It's becoming one of the more popular U.S. cities to live in.
According to U.S. Census data, the Denver County population grew nearly 14-percent from 2010 to 2015, reaching a population of 682,545 people.
But where are all these people coming from?
Online blog, Sparefoot Moving Guides, looked even further back to Census data from 2009 to 2013, which shows the different places people moved to the Denver metro area from.
According to the blog, it turns out 64 percent of people moving to Denver county are coming from other counties in Colorado.
36 percent of them are from other states.
More than 23,750 people moved to Denver County from out-of-state from 2009 to 2013 while 42,764 moved from another county in Colorado, according to Sparefoot.
